AS-Level Course

Our AS-Level Courses are aimed at students who are currently in Year 12

AS-Level Maths

This is one of our most popular courses, this class is run in all three venues as well as our online classes. We have recently started a second class in Oadby as our original class filled up on GCSE results day!

We recommend that only students with a grade A or higher at GCSE Level go on to study AS-Level Maths, although many schools/colleges allow students with a grade B in GCSE Maths onto the course.

Our AS-Level course covers modules Core Mathematics 1 and Core Mathematics 2 which is two thirds of the AS-Level course. We cover the content of each module in nine, ninety minute sessions which accounts for about half of the year. The other half of the course is spent on revision and exam practice.

The final third of the AS-Level course is one of Decision 1, Statistics 1, or Mechanics 1. Some schools/colleges allow students choose this third module whilst others pick the modules for their students. We teach this final module as an online class, this year we will be teaching Mechanics 1, Decision 1 and Statistics 1 on our online classes.
